【课程简介 About this course】

The purpose of these weekly classes is to reinforce some of the English subject matter the students are learning in their English classes. The lessons will focus of the aspects of Listening and Speaking relating to the English language. The classes will be designed to have students practice their listening and speaking skills along with learning about American and other world cultures.

Due to the formats of the lessons (recorded videos), the classes will be informative, creative and verbally interactive for the students.

每周课程的主要目的是为了强化学生们在日常英语课程中学习的相应英语主题。本课程将重点关注英语语言学习中听力和口语技能的提升。课程的设计也是让学生在练习听力和口语的同时，学习美国文化和来自其他国家的世界文化。

由于课程的格式（录制视频）的限制，课程的形式以信息传递的讲座和创意性的口头互动为主。

【课程特点 Features of this course】

Class Objective: To have the students be able to retain at least one important concept relating to the subject matter being taught. 

Foreign Influence: Lessons will be taught by native English speakers.  It is vital for the students to interact and practice their English with native speakers in order to become more familiar with the language from a cultural viewpoint.

Content Relationship to Gao Kao: Lesson topics will correlate with the subjects and topics being taught to effectively prepare for the Gao Kao
